Maintenance for Flow Wrapping Machine

　　1. Cleaning and maintenance per shift

1) Before cleaning and wiping the machine, the power must be switched off to ensure the safety of man and machine.

2) Wipe the machine worktop and external surfaces with a clean, twisted, wet rag.

3) Use compressed air to remove product debris from the feed mechanism and the centre and end seals.

4) Remove any film fragments adhering to the end sealer with a wire brush coated with slick oil.

　　2. Monthly inspection and maintenance

Lubrication of the intermeshing gears and sprocket chains in the machine drive train by light application

As a matter of principle, oil lubrication is prohibited for timing belts and conveyor flat belts on machines.

2) Lubricate the end seal bearings with oil.

3) Check the chain and belt tensioning of the drive components and tighten them if necessary.

4) Check for loose screws or nuts on each component and press them down if necessary.

5) Check for carbon build-up in the brushes and wipe if necessary.

　　3. Six months of maintenance and care

1) Check the drive belt and conveyor flat belt for wear and tear and replace with new if necessary.

2) Check all kinds of wearing parts and pay attention to timely replacement.

3) Check the wear and tear of the drive parts and replace with new ones if necessary.

4) Check and tighten the electrical wiring and clean the dust from all electrical components with compressed air.
